Draft Clean Water Act Guidance - NCAEP Comments

On 2 May 2011 the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) jointly published in the Federal Register their proposal to issue clarifying guidance for determining which waters and wetlands are protected under the Clean Water Act (CWA) programs. The agencies are soliciting comments on the proposed draft guidance from interested parties, and the comment period will be 60 days.

NCAEP plans to formally comment and requests that our members provide input. 

We will be accepting written comments for consideration at our 19 May Basinwide Planning/Waters Committee meeting.  Please provide comments for consideration/inclusion by 12:00 (noon) 19 May to Ward Marotti (wmarotti@wkdickson.com).
