The landscape for stormwater management is currently being regraded by EPA, the NC Legislature and the results of new research projects. Are you wondering about this new terrain?
This talk will walk through the EPA’s current national rulemaking process as well as the latest actions of the NC Legislature on post-construction stormwater management. New research on stormwater control measures including bioretention and permeable pavement will be highlighted. Also, there will be plenty of time to have your questions answered.
This informative presentation will be given by Annette Lucas, an environmental engineer for the Division of Water Quality’s Wetlands and Stormwater Branch.
A second presentation will be given by Mike MacIntyre, Administrator of the City of Charlotte's Post Construction Controls Ordinance. Mr. MacIntyre will focus on implementation and future changes to the city's ordinance.
